Why Choose Tempered Glass?

There are many types of glass available on the market, and oridinary and tempered glass are widely used in diffierent fileds.So what is the difference between tempered glass and ordinary glass? And why tempered glass is more popular tha ordinary glass?

1.Safety

Compared to ordinary glass, tempered glass has higher safety performance because the edge is very sharp and can easily cut people when ordinary glass breaks. Tempered glass, on the other hand, breaks into small uniform particles without sharp edges, making it safer.

2.Strength

Due to the uniform compressive stress on the surface of tempered glass and the internal tensile stress, its strength is higher than that of ordinary glass, making it highly resistant to impact.

3.Thermal Resistance

Ordinary glass does not have good thermal resistance and should be used at temperatures below 70℃, otherwise it may break. Tempered glass, on the other hand, has excellent thermal resistance and can be used at temperatures above 135℃.
